Come celebrate the gift of family with Harvest of Hope
Join us on Saturday, May 4, 2013 for the 2nd Annual Harvest of Hope "Destination Home: Be A Champion for Children" 5K Run/Walk featuring four-time track and field Olympian Joetta Clark Diggs at the North Brunswick Community Park (2053 Route 130 South).
Together we will kick off the National Foster Care Month and raise awareness of the need for children in the foster care system.
~ In 2011, an estimated 7, 018 children were in Out-of-Home placement in the state of New Jersey (Center for the Study of Social Policy & Annie E. Casey Foundation). ~
~ On-site registration opens at 8:00 a.m
~ The 5K Run starts at 9:00 a.m.
~ The 5K Walk begins at 9:30 a.m.
~ The Award Ceremony commences at 10:00 a.m.
